Application Process and Notification

Requests for travel support should be submitted on https://conext19travel.hotcrp.com/ by October 24, 2019 11:59pm EDT. Notification of acceptance will be given on October 26.

The student should submit a PDF document containing the following information:

• A resume
• A cover letter providing:
• A short statement indicating how the student would benefit from attending ACM CoNEXT 2019.
• A brief summary of research interests and accomplishments.
• An indication of whether the student has submitted an abstract to or has an accepted paper in the ACM CoNEXT 2019 Student Workshop.
• Indicate your gender and whether you belong to an under-represented minority.
• Estimated travel costs to the conference.

A supporting letter from the advisor stating:

• the suitability of the CoNEXT program material to the student's research area;
• how CoNEXT will benefit the student’s research progress;
• the strengths and potential contributions of the student;
• the capability or (lack thereof) of the advisor to pay for the partial expenses.
